1908:  Phosphate Discovered in Jordan

 

1935:  Start Operating at Al-Russeifa area.

 

1949:  Establishment of the JPMC a private company.

 

1953:  Registration of the JPMC as a public shareholding company.

 

1962:  Established mining operation at Al Hassa mine.

 

1966:  Phosphate Production exceeds the 1 million tons for the first time.

 

1968:  Phosphate Sales exceeds the 1 million tons for the first time

 

1972:  Net Earning exceed JOD 1 million mark for the first time.

 

1979:  Established mining operation at Al Abiad mine.

 

1986:  Recruitment for entire operation Fertilizer Industrial complex.

 

 1988:  Establishment of Eshidiya Mine.

 

 1993:  Established Indo Jordan Chemical Co. (IJCC) the first joint venture company to produce Phosphoric Acid.

 

1993:  Established Nippon Jordan Fertilizer Co. (NJFC) to produce NPK & DAP.

 

2006:  Brunei Investment Agency/Kamil Holdings Limited acquires 37% of the shares.

 

2007: JPMC – IFFCO Signs an agreement to produce phosphoric acid

 

 

2007:  JPMC pays stock dividend of JOD0.10 per share first in 11 years
