Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) and PT Petrokimia Gresik (PKG) have signed a Joint Venture Agreement for setting-up a USD 200 Million phosphoric acid manufacturing project to be located in Gresik, Java Indonesia.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Walid Kurdi Chairman/CEO of JPMC and Mr. Arfin Tasrif President Director of PKG in the presence of Indonesian Minister of State Owned Enterprises, Ambassador of HKJ and other high officials.
A limited liability company will be incorporated by the two
Parties to execute the project which will comprise of annual production of 200000 MT of Phosphoric Acid Plant, 600000 MTPA Sulfuric Acid Plant with all necessary utilities and off-site facilities.
The project implementation is expected to commence during third quarter this year with objective to come on-stream in 2013.
